Who We Are
THE THOMSON GROUP is the brainchild of its three Directors who started a new trend in Kerala. The Thomson Group were the first ones to recognize the need for a more budget friendly and easy to maintain substitute in aluminium which was new to the market.
ALUMINIUM & ALLIED PRODUCTS: The Group started a small trading unit as a
Partnerishp Firm “Aluminium & Allied Centre” at Convent Road, Ernakulam, Cochin in 1986 as traders in Aluminium Extrusions and other building products in Kerala. The Group has always been ahead of its times and the foresight of its directors in terms of possibilities in Aluminium paid off paving the way for the group to become pioneers in aluminium and allied products across South India. We are the market leaders for aluminium building products in Kerala. We are the major distributors of Hindalco, Jindal and Bhoruka with separate showrooms for each brand in Cochin. We market the latest aluminium profiles in Kerala through our showrooms. To cater to the customised needs of our clients we even have our own units for anodizing and powder coating in Trivandrum and Thiruvalla.
THOMSON FURNITURE : God’s own country being blessed with nature has always
depended on wood for their construction. We have also diversified and used our trading experience of 28 years to launch our furniture division. It was in 2009 that we started our furniture showrooms ”Thomson Home Depot” for branded exclusive wood furniture in Trivandrum and Thiruvalla. We have a varied product range including household, office, hotel, hospital, auditorium and even outdoor furniture with our quality, price and aftersales service being the best in the industry.
MULTIWOOD & TECHWOOD : Over the past five years our focus has been on the quest for new generation building products which minimise labour and time. We succeeded in being able to introduce brands like Multiwood & Techwood which have received tremendous response from architects, builders and consumers. Multiwood is now widely used as a substitute for Wood, HDF, MDF and particle board because of its high durability and finish. We have more than forty dealers spread across Kerala for these products.
TOMLUKES INDIA : Our Import and Marketing Division started during the year 2000 has become a trusted name in introducing the latest and the most innovative Building products in Kerala. Our experience in this field and the range of products that we have, makes it different from others. Owing to the widespread overseas link-up and supply chain, we ensure timely & safe delivery of the products and also believe in achieving 100% clientsatisfaction.

client satisfaction. We have showrooms in Cochin and at Trivandrum.

incorporated in 2011 involve in Wholesale of non-agricultural intermediate products, waste and scrap.
HOSPITALITY : We have also ventured in to the hospitality industry with our Kuttikanam – Panjalimedu Eco tourism project.
